| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about 1990: The Bronx Warriors |
The Italian production 1990: THE BRONX WARRIORS (1990: I guerrieri del Bronx) was directed by Enzo G. Castellari in 1982.
Ann, the heiress of the Manhattan Corporation, decides to leave Manhattan for good and heads to the Bronx. There, she soon meets Trash, the leader of the Riders, and falls for him. In the meantime, executives of the Manhattan Corporation wants Ann dead and, to do so, asks Hammer, a policeman who was born in the Bronx, to find her.
Hammer thinks that, by provoking a gang war, he will have the opportunity to come near the girl and kill her. Ann tells the truth to Trash when two members of the Riders are murdered by Hammer who places evidences implicating another Bronx gang, the Tigers, near the crime scene. Trash decides to talk to the Ogre, the leader of the Tigers, but he must first pass through territories ruled by different gangs. After several skirmishes, Trash meets the Ogre and both men decide to become allies in order to protect Ann from Hammer and rescue her from the roller skating gang which has just kidnapped her.
