| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about My Best Friend's Wedding |
Julianne is a food reviewer in her late 20's who is afraid to love someone. She has had lots of past relationships but can't seem to find someone she has ever really opened her heart to.
While at a fancy restaurant with her editor and friend George, she finds a message from her best friend and ex boyfriend Michael O'Connel. She is a little anxious to see what he wants to talk to her about because of a promise they made that would go into effect when she turned 28, just a couple weeks later. When she calls him back though, she finds out that he is actually getting married to Kimberly Wallace, the daughter of the Red Sox owner, She is very shocked and upset when she hears this but plays it cool.
Julianne goes to to the wedding as a bridesmaid with one thing in mind...break the happy couple up.
