Students from across the nation audition to join the prestigious American Ballet Academy. The movie follows the lives of five students and the trials and tribulations they face as they all compete for spots in the best dance company in the nation. Side stories include a love triangle between two students and a choreographer, a bulimic, arrogant ballerina who doesn't know if dancing is her true passion, and the blossoming of a street-wise tough girl into a sophisticated young lady. Center Stage is a good-hearted, clean cut movie that all dancers will enjoy.

This movie is about a group of students who have been accepted into the American Ballet Academy and are competing for spots in the American Ballet Company.

Essentially the story is about Jodie Sawyer, a girl who is told by Jonathon, the director of the ABC that she doesn't have great feet or the right body type that he looks for in the people that he chooses for the ABC. This makes dancing become a hassle for Jodie, who loves dancing, and cannot imagine life without it.

Jodie becomes involved with Cooper Nielson who is a dancer with the ABC, and eventually wins the role as the lead dancer in the piece that he has choreographed for the workshop which determines who wins the places into ABC.

Through the movie a love triangle is formed with Cooper & Charlie (an absolute hottie played by Suscha Rodesky).

Center Stage is a very entertaining story about young dancers who want to make it into the American Ballet Company. The competition is fierce and some people will do anything for the goals. Center Stage is an amazing tale about a a female ballet dancer that just wants what her heart desires.
