| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Out of Sight |
OUT OF SIGHT is a movie directed by Steven Soderbergh in 1998. Based on Elmore Leonard novel.
George Clooney, after more than 200 bank robberies, is jailed into a Floridan penitentiary. With the help of his buddy Ving Rhames, he escapes but has to kidnap Jennifer Lopez, a federal marshall, who happens to witness the escape. Both of them fall in love while locked in the car's trunk. Lopez finds a way to leave the clumsy criminals and follows them to Detroit. Clooney had got the word that valuable diamonds are hidden there in the house of a convict he met two years ago in prison.
Great artsy thriller.
