| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Deranged (1974) |
DERANGED is a canadian production written and directed by Allan Ormsby in 1974.
Like "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" shot the same year, the picture is based on the story of Ed Gein but presents the killer's point of view.
Wisconsin. Ezra Cobb is living alone with his crippled mother in a farm. She teaches him that all women are evil. When she dies, Ezra becomes insane. He steals her corpse and hides it in his farm. After having stuffed her body, he speaks to her all day long and soon wants her to have some company.
