Ben Afflick stars as Michael Jennings, a brilliant "reverse engineer" who breaks down computer programs and steals the code for mega corporation Allcom. Because the work is illegal his memory is erased after he completes each job. Normally, the jobs take a few weeks.
Rethrick, the owner of Allcom, played by Aaron Eckhard, offers Jennings 92 million dollars for a project that will take 3 years. His offer creates the first of many ethical decisions Jennings faces. Can a price be placed on 3 years of life?
Jennings accepts and completes the assigned task which involves a machine that predicts the future. He is doublecrossed by Allcom and because of what he may know or remember. Rethrick, though his underlings attempt to kill Jennings.
To survive Jennings must bring down Allcom and it's evil leader Rethrick.
