Sleepers is divided into three parts. In the first part, four boys are innocent and young. They live in Hell's Kitchen (in New York). They make a big mistake and land in a reform school, which is the second part. While in reform school, the guards torture and rape the boys. In the third part, the boys are men and they are out to get revenge on the guards that abused them.
