| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003) |
In this remake of the 1974 original Texas Chainsaw Massacre, 5 young friends (Erin, Morgan, Pepper, Kemper, and Andy) are driving down the road. They just got back from a drug run in Mexico. On their way home, they see a bloody hitchhiker and pick her up. The girl seems really frightened and tells them of gruesome killings. She then proceeds to take out a gun and shoot herself. The five friends go to a nearby gas station and ask for help with the dead girl. They are told to go down to the mill and wait for the sheriff. The sheriff takes a while so they split up. Kemper and Erin went to go find a phone and the other three stayed with the dead girl. Then a brutal killer with a facial defect starts killing the group, one by one.
