Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Hamburger Hill
Written and produced by James Carabatsos (Heartbreak Ridge), HAMBURGER HILL is a movie directed by John Irvin in 1987.

The setting is Vietnam in May 1969. A platoon is assigned to take a hill defended by the army of the North Vietnam. The battle will last nine days and cost the lives of dozens of american soldiers.
