| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Miami Blues |
Alec Baldwin plays a hardened criminal who cons the cons and robs for a living. He arrives in Miami and sets up shop. He pays a local pimp to send him a hooker, played by Jennifer Jason Leigh. Somehow they end up having more conversation than sex and she hooks up with him, aware of his past life, but hoping he has got on the straight and narrow path. But he has not. He is still out cheating pawnbrokers, stealing women's purses, and other schemes. Leading to his capture is his mistake of robbing a cop (Fred Ward) and take his gun, badge, and handcuffs.
