Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Colors
Directed by Dennis Hopper, Colors stars Robert Duvall as Bob Hodges, an experienced officer in the Los Angeles anti-gang unit known as C.R.A.S.H. He gets partnered with Danny Mcgavin (Sean Penn), a young cocky officer new to the C.R.A.S.H. unit. They patrol east L.A. trying to control gang violence. Hodges eventually molds Mcgavin into a more mature, professional officer through drugs busts and gang warfare.
