Terrorists in Beirut have hijacked a TWA airliner and are holding the passengers hostage and the pilot at gunpoint. The Delta Force headed up by Colonel Nick Alexander (Lee Marvin) and Major Scott McCoy (Chuck Norris) is an elite task force unit sent into Lebanon to rescue the hostages. Major McCoy was set to retire before this crisis, but he decides to go back into action to fend off the terrorists.
