| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Extremities |
Based on the play by William Mastrosimone, Extremities stars Farrah Fawcett as Marjorie. One night at a mall Marjorie gets attacked by Joe (James Russo) who is wearing a ski mask. He makes her drive to a secluded spot and threatens her physically with a knife. Marjorie gets away and reports the incident to the police, telling them he has her wallet. They say they can't do much without a description and she leaves feeling like they can't help her at all. A week later Joe shows up pretending to look for someone. Marjorie asks him to leave but he attacks her again, slapping her and making threats on her life. As Joe attemptes to smother her, Marjorie grabs a can of bug spray and gets him in the eyes with it then hits him over the head with a lamp. When she breaks free she wraps Joe up in telephone wire and she runs away to call the cops. But Joe makes her realize its his word against her. There is no proof. So Marjorie breaks down and traps Joe in
the fire place while she digs a grave. Her roommates eventually come home and they convince her not to kill Joe.
