Lisa Reisart (Rachel McAdams) is the manager of a hotel and has a fear of flying. When she meets this man (Cillian Murphy) in the airport and they find out they're seats are beside of each other she becomes excited because she likes him. It turns out that he wants Lisa to switch a rich guys room so that they can kill him or he will kill her father. She spends most of the movie trying to find out what to do.

Lisa is a hotel manager catching the red eye flight back home to Miami after attending her grandmother's funeral. At the airport she meets a charming man named Jackson. It turns out he has the seat next to her on the plane. But Jackson soon reveals he is not what he seems. It turns out he has been spying on her for weeks in order to carry out his mission. He must get her to call her hotel and change the room of the leader of Homeland Security so that it will be easier to assassinate him. If Lisa doesn't make the phone call, Jackson will have one of his associates kill her father. How can Lisa save the diplomat while ensuring her father's safety?
