Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Carmen Jones
Taken from the famous Bizet opera, this classic film stars an all black cast. The movie sets in World War II where Carmen Jones, a sexy temptress whom is used to being wooed by many men, but only one catches her eye and that it Joe. Joe is a military officer not interested in returning her affection as he is already taken by his sweet-natured love Cindy Lou. After having another fight with a woman, Carmen is under arrest and Joe is ordered to keep her under his supervision. After spending some time with the attractive seductress, it wouldn't be too long till Joe mates with her.
