| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Gigli |
Tough guy Larry Gigli is a hired hitman ordered by his boss Louis....... to kidnap a mentally challenged kid Brian. Brian is the brother of a powerful prosecutor that wants to bring Starkman(a mob leader) down by giving him some hard time in prison; which is the only way to stop the attorney is for him to lose focus on the case and spend time looking for his hip hop music loving brotther.
But Louis is afraid that Gigli would not do his job right after a few screwups on past jobs given to him. Now he is partnered with Ricki, a female thug pretending to be the next door neighbor keeping an eye on Gigli, but soon tells him that she is too a hitwoman employed by Louis to make sure Gigli does not make any mistake.
The gangsters and Brian is all cooped up in Larry's one bedroom apartment. Also Gigli takes the opportunity to flirt with Ricki; which making it clear she is not moved by her partner advances. She also let him know she is a lesbian that already in a loving relationship with her girlfriend.
Gigli continues hitting on the outspoken lesbian despite his male chauvanistic ways and evidently this causes problems to surface between the two. Although Gigli and Ricki is keeping a low profile about the disappearance of Brian, detective Stanley Jacobellis visits Gigl's apartment to him question him on whether or not he is in the involvement of Brian's kidnapping.
To save his own life of course Gigli tells the dectective he has no clue of Brian being missing. Meanwhile as time goes by tension lessened as the thugs spends time with one another; while Ricki falls for Gigli's supposedly likable charm. All the while both of the new lovers has a soft spot for lovable Brian.
