| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about The Inlaws |
THE IN-LAWS was directed by Arthur Hiller in 1979.
Vincent Ricardo's son is about to marry Sheldon S. Kornpett's daughter. Vincent is an undercover CIA agent who just stole the official plates for U.S. currency. He will force Sheldon, a NYC dentist, to help him carry these plates to Honduras in order to confound General Garcia who's about to touch off an international monetary crisis by printing out billions of dollars in several different currencies. But before being able to speak to Garcia, both men will have to escape the F.B.I., the criminals who helped Vincent to steal the plates and some Central Americans bad guys. At first angry at Vincent, Sheldon will finally take some pleasure in these wild adventures.
