Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Halloween 2
Laurie, the only victim to escape from psychopath Michael Myers is taken to the hospital and treated for a stab wound and minor injuries. She is admitted and is forced to spend the night.
Michael follows her to the hospital to finish her off. He kills a doctor, a paramedic and several nurses enroute to finding Laurie.
Dr. Loomis learns from a colleague that the reason Michael wants Laurie so bad is because she is his sister. Loomis tracks Michael to the hospital. He shoots Michael, but he won't die. He and Laurie lock themselves in a storage room.
When Michael breaks into the room and Laurie shoots him in the eyes.
While Michael is staggering around blind, Laurie and Loomis open up several oxygen tanks. Laurie escapes from the room and Loomis lights a lighter, blowing up Michael and himself.

"Halloween II" the sequel to John Carpenter's "Halloween". Micheal Myers is back to extract his bloody justice! Once again going after his sister, Laurie Strode armed with his knife and has no problem killing anyone who gets in his way. Starting off exactly where the original left off. Laurie learns that she can't escape from her borther, but she will have to kill him and she better hurry before he finds her first!

The nightmare isnt over yet! In this mediocre sequel to John Carpenter's 1978 classic, Jamie Lee Curtis and Donald Pleasence return for more supernatural hijinks on the scariest night of the year.
Sadly this sequel lacks what made the original so unforgetable. Atmosphere and suspense. Instead it is substitued with blood and gore. It plays as more of a homage to Friday the 13th than it does Halloween.
The most I can say is that it's moderately entertaining and always fun to see Pleasance chewing the scenery. Jamie Lee Curtis is wasted in what is basically a glorified cameo. See this film only if you're a die hard Halloween fan.
