| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Notorious |
NOTORIOUS is a movie written by Ben Hecht and directed by Alfred Hitchcock in 1946. Ingrid Bergman's father, a nazi supporter, has been found guilty of treason by a Miami court and sent to jail. Bergman is hired by Cary Grant, a F.B.I. agent, for a mission in Rio de Janeiro. She must spy on a group of nazi friends conspiring against the free World. Soon, Claude Rains, one of them, falls in love with Ingrid Bergman. A classic AND a masterpiece.
